What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies such as local storage let a site remember information between page loads. We refer to all of these as “cookies”.

How we use cookies

We use only essential cookies and local storage that are required for the platform to work. These include:

Authentication — keeping you signed in to your organiser account and maintaining your session securely
Security — protecting the platform and its forms against abuse and fraud
Preferences — remembering basic settings needed for the service to function

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use non-essential analytics or tracking cookies without your consent.

Analytics without cookies

We measure how our public pages are used with GoatCounter, a privacy-focused analytics service. It sets no cookies and stores no identifier on your device, which is why you are not asked to consent to it — there is nothing stored to consent to.

It records the page visited, the referring site, and general details such as browser, screen size and country. It does not build a profile of you or track you across other websites. Our ticket pages and signed-in organiser and admin areas are excluded from analytics altogether. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, we record nothing at all.

Third-party cookies

Some features rely on trusted third parties who may set their own cookies when you use them — for example our payment processors (SumUp, Stripe and PayPal) during checkout, and our authentication provider when you sign in. These are used to deliver the service you requested and are governed by those providers’ own policies.

Managing cookies

Because the cookies we set are essential to operating the platform, disabling them may prevent parts of the service — such as signing in or completing a purchase — from working. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.
