Build an event with AI

Describe your event in your own words, or paste in details you already have, and get a draft to finish in the event wizard. Nothing is published until you review it and publish it yourself.

Start a draft

  1. Go to Events. Next to Create event, open the menu and choose Build it with AI.
  2. Paste in your event details (a listing, an email, the text from a poster) or just describe the event. Not sure where to start? Pick one of the examples to fill the box, then edit it.
  3. Press Enter to send. The Draft preview builds up as you chat: name, date and time, venue, description and ticket tiers.
  4. Reply to add anything that was missing or to change something. Check anything listed under To confirm.
  5. Choose Open in wizard →.

You don't have to finish the chat first. You can open the draft at any point and fill in the rest in the wizard.

Finish in the wizard

The wizard opens with your draft filled in. Work through each step as usual and check everything, especially dates, prices and ticket quantities.

  • Venue: if the draft names one of your saved venues, it's picked for you. Otherwise we look the place up and ask you to check it, or you can pick a saved venue or create a new one.
  • When you're happy, choose Save draft or publish from the Review step.

See Create an event and Publish an event for the wizard steps.

Good to know

  • It's a draft, not a finished event. The AI can misread details, so always review it before you publish.
  • Text only. You can paste the words from a poster or flyer, but you can't upload the image.
  • Daily limit. There's a limit on AI builder messages per day. If you reach it, open your draft in the wizard and carry on there.
  • Prefer your own AI assistant? Choose From ChatGPT/Claude in the same menu to create events by asking ChatGPT or Claude. See AI assistants.
