Check in attendees
Use the BooTickets mobile app to scan tickets at the door.
Set up door staff
- From your dashboard, give your team scanner access for the event.
- They install BooTickets Scanner (App Store) and sign in with the email address you invited them on, using the temporary password from their invite email.
On the day
- Open the app and select your event.
- Point the camera at each attendee's QR code — on their phone, a printout, or a wallet pass.
- A valid ticket is confirmed and marked as checked in.
- If a ticket has already been scanned or isn't valid, the app flags it immediately so it can't be reused.
Tip: Tickets work offline-friendly via wallet passes, but the scanner needs a connection to validate and record check-ins.
