How much does BooTickets cost?

There's no monthly fee and no contract — just 1% per ticket. Your payment provider charges its own processing fee separately, paid directly to them. You can absorb the BooTickets fee or pass it to the buyer. See Pricing.

When do I get paid?

Straight away, on your payment provider's schedule. You connect your own Stripe, SumUp or PayPal account, so takings go directly to you — BooTickets never holds your funds. See Payments.

Can I sell free tickets?

Yes. Free (£0) tickets are issued instantly with no payment step and no fee.

Do I need a payment provider?

Only for paid tickets. Connect one before publishing a paid event — see Connect payments.

Can I sell tickets from my own website?

Yes — add a Buy tickets button so people check out without leaving your site, or simply link to your event page.

How do refunds work?

You can refund tickets from the order. The ticket price (and pro-rata VAT) is returned; the BooTickets fee is only returned if the buyer paid it. See Issue a refund.

How do people get into my event?

Each ticket has a unique QR code you scan with the BooTickets app at the door. See Check-in.

Is there an API?

Yes — a public API for events, series and checkout. See API.
